昨日この状態になって tetex-bin を purge -> install して
しまったので確認できなかったのでお聞きしたいのですが

texmf.cnf の冒頭部は
% original texmf.cnf -- runtime path configuration file for kpathsea.
% (If you change or delete `original' on the previous line, the
% distribution won't install its version over yours.)

のようですか，それとも全然違いますか？
(記憶では全然違う時期があったのですがよく憶えてないので)

例えば

version 0.? of teTeX (0.9 かな？)とか

TEXMFMAIN = /usr/lib/texmf

とかはありますでしょうか？
