Netscape Communicatorをinstall したのですが、ウィンドウマネージャに
qvwmを使うと、kinput2の文字入力アイコンが点滅して、日本語の入力がで
きません。

qvwmでこの現象を抑えるには、~/.qvwmrc に以下の設定を書き加えます。

"Kinput2"       NOTITLE,ONTOP,NOFOCUS

$ cp -v /etc/X11/qvwm/kanji.qvwmrc ~/.qvwmrc

してから、以下の部分を編集すると良いでしょう。
