[debian-users:26786] apache の設定について

竹内@linuxです。
SS20 へ Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 r2 'Potato' をインストールしています。
apache を使って Web Server を立ち上げたいと考えているのですが、残念なこ
とに現在私の手元に在るのは RedHat5.2/6.0 の参考書だけなのです。
RH では httpd で起動だが Debian では apache で起動
RH では /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd というツリー構造だが
Debian では /etc/init.d/apache と言うツリー構造等は何とか判ったのですが
httpd.conf を書き直して見てリロードさせるとエラーが出てしまいます。

/usr/sbin/apachectl graceful: httpd not running, trying to startapache:
cannot determine loacal hot name.
Use the ServerName directive to set it manually.
/usr/sbin/apachectl graceful: httpd could not be started
これは、何を言っているのかお教え願えないでしょうか。
