作者(発表者)の方はいわゆる SI 業をやっているようです。

Debian は素晴らしいが数十台、数百台にインストールするのは大変だ。
YASDI を使えば さまざまな設定をあらかじめ設定できるので
3時間／台 かかっていたものが 30分／台 で終わる。
というような内容でした。
# かなりうろ覚えです^^;

あとは鵜飼さんのメモにある通りのboot-(cd|floppy) に必要な設定項目の
説明のような感じでした。
