it was fixed with groff_1.16-1 and I also verified it just now.
Well, I believed by mistake that the problem was not of groff
but of man-db so I did not imagine to check with groff_1.16-1
although I knew that Sano-san sent the patch.
BTW, to tell the truth, I am most interested in the following

and now I guess I can understand. Perhaps "Of course" was
badly placed or used. My intention was as follows:
Unfortunately 'man foo' does not display Japanese characters
at all with japanese manual pages but, of course, 'man foo'
works well with english manual pages.
