多機能な perl の日本語コード変換ライブラリです。
いずれ debian 本家に持っていきたいと思っています。

 Description: Perl module for convert japanese encodings
  Unicode::Japanese is perl module for convert japanese encodings.
  Features:
   - instance has strings with UTF-8.
   - support convert between Hankaku and Zenkaku.
   - support convert between Katakana and Hiragana.
   - handle mobile phone(DoCoMo i-mode，ASTEL dot-i，J-PHONE J-Sky)'s graphic
     characters (so called "EMOJI") safety.
   - support convert mobile phone's graphic charactors between each standard.
   - when convert unicode to sjis(euc/jis), can replace charactor unable mapped
     to '&#xxxx;' format.
