この件に関し、いくつかリプライをいただきました。どうもありがとうござい
ました。結局、liloconfig を実行して、

に、no と答えて、それ以降に出てくる、MBR にインストールするか、という
質問に yes と答えて、なんとか linux と win95 を選択して起動できるよう
になりました。ただ、/etc/lilo.conf

boot = /dev/hda3

delay = 50      # optional, for systems that boot very quickly

ramdisk = 0     # paranoia setting

  label = win

の中で、delay = 50 と指定しているにもかかわらず、５秒もたたないまにす
ぐにデフォルトで linux が起動してしまいます。delay = 500 としても同じ
ことで、どうも delay のところが効いていないみたいです。今はしかたなく、
LILO と表示されるや否や、Alt キーを押して、どうにか選択起動していると
ころです。
