rubyの勉強しようと思って、インストールしてみました。それで気
になったことが一つあります。

ruby 1.0.970930-1のcopyrightには、以下のように書かれています。

 1. You may make and give away verbatim copies of the source form of
    the software without restriction, provided that you do not modify
    the original distribution files.

    If you want to distribute the modified version in any way, contact 
    the author.

  3. You may modify the software in any way, provided that you do not
     distribute the modified version.

このほかに、改変版の配布を許可する条項がありませんので、
Debian Free Software Guidelinesの以下の条件に合致しないよう
に思います。

     3.   Derived Works

          The license must allow modifications and derived works, and must
          allow them to be distributed under the same terms as the license
          of the original software.

結局、rubyはnon-freeになると思いますが、どうでしょうか。
