いつもお世話になっています、新井です。

今回、UNIX USERのDebian JP Reportを読みながらGnomeを
入れようと試みたんですが、
Unable to connect to server port 35091
gnome-session: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.32: undefined symbol: gdk_imlib_get_cache_info
を吐き、起動してくれません。

また、$HOME/以下に
.ICEauthorityってファイルが生成されます。

--やったこと--
/etc/apt/sources.listに
http://www.debian.org/~jim/debian-gtk-gnome/gnome-stage-slink unstable 
mainを書き加える。

# apt-get update

# apt-get install gmc gnome-control-center gnome-panel gnome-session
gnome-games gnome-terminal gnome-utils

window managerにenlightenmentを使っているので、
.xinitrcの最後を
enlightenment &
gnome-session
としました。

当然のことながら、今までちゃんとenlightenmentは使えてましたし、
今もちゃんと使えてます。
