佐久間といいます．

武藤さんのupgrade.pl(Revision 1.5)を使ってslink(ネットビレッジ版)から
potate(Hypercore版CD-ROM)へのアップグレードを試みています．手順は
upgrade.htmlに従いました．但し/etc/apt/sources.listはCD-ROMの行のみで，
リモートサイトの行はいれていません．

実際にupgrade.plを実行した直後，dpkg -lで見るとStatus=Unpackedのパッケー
ジが175個も残っていましたがこの理由がわかりません．なぜなんでしょうか?

これはとりあえずdpkg --configure --pendingで上記パッケージをUnpacked→
Installedとしました．

また，現時点でapt-get -s installやapt-get -s dist-upgradeを実行すると，

となっています．upgrade.plの中で既に何回かapt-get -fが実行されています
が，更に指示のとおり-fを付けて実行すればよいのでしょうか?

また，[Phase 6: First dist-upgrade...]  [Phase 14: Second
dist-upgrade...]の出力に，

  E: This installation run will require temporarily removing the essential
  package libpam0g due to a Conflicts/Pre-Depends loop. This is often bad, but
  if you really want to do it, activate the APT::Force-LoopBreak option.

というメッセージも出ていましたが，無視していいのでしょうか?
