以前に同じことに気づき修正しました。
/etc/cron.d/eximで実行しているようです。

cronのマニュアルを見ると

cron  also reads /etc/crontab, which is in a slightly dif-
ferent format (see crontab(5)).  Additionally, cron  reads
the  files in /etc/cron.d; see the DEBIAN SPECIFIC section
below for more details.

と書いてあるので、/etc/cron.dの下にあるスクリプトも実行するのだと思います。

以前にeximを使っていたので、削除した時に設定が残ったようです。
