[debian-users:30789] XFree86-4.1 nvidia-*; 終了不能 ACPI?

先日から、440BX な板のマシンを頂き、GeForce2 Pro なカードを入手
したのと、UnixUser の "unstable のすすめ" を読んで、これを機会に sid
な環境を構築しようとトライしています。

potato の CD-ROM から入れて、apt-get dist-upgrade したものです。kernel
は、nvidia のドライヴァの関係で、2.4.14 を再構築しました。

大体はなんとかなっている(こうしてメールを読み書きできる所まで来ました)
のですが、X を終了させることが出来ない状況(コンソールがおかしいのか??)
に困っています。

X 関連のインストール状況は次のようです。

X は一応動いており、screen lock の 3d 系の物は、今まで使っていた別マシンの
nvidia Riva128(STP Velocity)と比べると、とてもスムースで早く、驚いています。^^;

[Ctrl]-[Alt]-[BS] を押すと、ターミナル画面で、すぐに、

xserver lost connection.
waiting for server shuttingdown

とか(?? はっきりと覚えていません)表示されたままで、固まります。キーボー
ドの入力も出来ません。

一方、X が立ち上がったままの状態から、[Ctrl]-[Alt]-[F2] で別のターミナ
ルに降りて、そっちで

su
sync; sync; sync;
shutdown -r now

としても、同じように固まりますが、こちらのケースでは、
[Ctrl]-[Atl]-[Del] が、かろうじて効きます。

# こうしないと、fs が umount 出来てない状態で reset ボタンを押すしか無
# くなり 起動時に fsck が inode の修理をしてくれます。
# いくつかソフトを動かした状態で、コンソールに下りようと、
# [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[Fn] して固まってしまい、いくつかファイルを壊してしました。

私の目には、ログにはとくにそれらしきメッセージは残っていないように見えます。

# ~/.xsession-erros は空です。
# /var/log/syslog にもそれらしいよなところはないような気がします。

長くて恐縮ですが、/var/log/XFree86.0.log と、dmesg を付けます。
APM と、font path で warning がでています。

うまく X を落せない(ひいては正常に終了できない)原因がなにか、わかりま
せんでしょうか??
