[debian-users:31874] xdvi-ja で日本語を含むファイルが表示できない .

こんにちは。
woody にて ptex 関連の物をインストールして、試していたのですが
エラーが出て、日本語部分が表示できません。
テストに使った tex ファイルは以下のような物です.

\documentclass{jsarticle}

\title{test}
\begin{document}
\maketitle
ああああ
\end{document}

エラーメッセージは以下のようなものです.
