Christian Jaeger さんにより、qmail と組み合わせて使う email の自動応答プ
ログラム autorespond にバッファオーバフローが発見されました。この脆弱性
により qmail を用いて autorespond に転送をさせるよう設定したユーザの権限
をリモートから奪える潜在的可能性があります。この脆弱性は問題となる入力の
長さの制約により攻撃可能だとは考えられていませんが、この長さの制約が効か
ない場合がある可能性もあるかもしれません。
現安定版 (stable) woody では、これはバージョン 2.0.2-2woody1 で修正されて
います。
不安定版 (unstable) sid では、近日修正予定です。
直ぐに autorespond パッケージをアップグレードすることを勧めます。
インストール手順
----------------
wget url
でファイルを取得できます。
dpkg -i file.deb
で参照されたファイルをインストールできます。
を用いて、次のコマンドを使ってください。
apt-get update
これは内部データベースを更新します。
apt-get upgrade
これで修正されたパッケージをインストールします。
本メールのフッタ記載の設定を自ホストの設定に加えることにより、自動更新を
行うこともできます。
