[debian-devel:10557] Debian JP popularity contest results (Thu Oct 7 00:12:13 JST 1999)
前原です。
potato の freeze 予定日(11 月 1 日)まで 1 カ月を切りました。ITP から
upload まである程度時間を空けないといけないことを考えると、ほとんど余裕
はありません。そこで、freeze までの期間限定で、以下のような Debian JP
popularity contest の結果を定期的(weekly?)にポストして、状況をより具体的
に把握できるようにしようと思うのですが、いかがでしょうか。
とりあえず今回は main だけにしておきます。また、気になるところにコメント
を入れてみました。
コメント欄の間違いなどは、教えていただければ修正するつもりですが、
cvs -d :ext:<account>@cvs.debian.or.jp:/var/cvs checkout jp-packages
して、自分の手で直して commit するのが確実です :)。

中原さんの PGP 鍵の登録については、Bug#46518 を出しておきました。幸い、
中原さん担当の TeX 関係のパッケージは 7 月頃に ITP されたものがいくつか
あるので、鍵が今月中に登録されそうになければ、代理で誰かがいきなり
upload することも可能だと思います。

ようやく渡辺さんと連絡がつきました。DFSG に合致するライセンスであること
を再確認したので、Debian に再 upload します。

nethack のメンテナからも日本語(ローマ字)で「 fork も仕方がないだろう」と
いう主旨のメールをもらったそうで、パッケージさえできれば問題なさそうです

timidity++ は Debian の timidity に取り込まれたはずなので、
timidity++-emacs を残して削除してもいいのではないでしょうか。

dotfile-* の中でも、これだけはすんなり持っていけそうですね。Canna 使い
(じゃなくてもいいですが)の official developer で持っていってやろうという
方はいらっしゃいませんか?
ちなみに、Debian の dotfile-* は、現状 QA group がメンテしているので、
「 upstream への contribute をちゃんと視野に入れているならば」、引き受け
てとりあえず patch を当てたものを提供するという方法もあるかもしれません。

*-ja なパッケージについては、すぐに upstream に取り込んでもらえそうなも
のかどうかだけでも情報があるといいですね。
NMU には最悪約 1 カ月かかるので、他に日本語対応が足りないパッケージなど
があれば、今のうちに報告しておきましょう。報告しておけば、freeze の前後
あたりに official developer の誰かが NMU できるかもしれません。
