鍋谷です。
以前私が翻訳した bug(1) を bug-ja に入れていただいたのですが、
今見て結構雑な訳に感じましたので改訂しました。
チェックをお願いします。

説明
bug は、現在自分のマシンにインストールされているバグのある
パッケージのバージョンが何かを調べる。そのパッケージがイン
ストールされていない場合は、一般的なバグ報告を生成する。
> If the description of the problem is given on the command-
> line and a subject is provided with the -s option then bug
> will run in batch mode and send a correctly formatted bug
> report to submit@bugs.debian.org.
問題についての説明がコマンドラインで与えられ、かつ Subject
が -s オプションにより与えられた場合、 bug はバッチモー ド
で 動 作 し、 正 し い 書 式 に 従っ た バ グ 報 告を sub-
mit@bugs.debian.org に送信する( -j オプションが与えられ た
場合は、 submit@bugs.debian.or.jp に送信する)。
> If no description is given on the commandline then bug
> will invoke the editor ( $VISUAL or $EDITOR environment
> variables or per default joe(1) ) for you to edit the text
> to be send. If you do not change the text no bug report
> will be sent!
コ マンドラインで問題の説明が与えられないときは、 bug はエ
ディタ( $VISUAL もしくは $EDITOR 環境変数、又はデフォル ト
の editor(1) )を起動し、送信用文書の編集を促す。文書に変更
がない場合は、バグ報告を送信しない。
> bug will include system information to assist the main-
> tainer in troubleshooting.
bug はシステム情報をバグ報告に含めて、メンテナーがトラブル
シューティングを行いやすいようにする。
> Since bug could include sensitive system information in a
> bug report when run as root it will not allow being run as
> root. Also the return address for e-mail should be a regu-
> lar username on a system and not root.
bug を root 権限で実行するとバグレポートに危険なシステム情
報を含めることが可能となるため、 bug はroot権限での実行 を
許さない。また電子メールの返信用アドレスはシステム上の正規
のユーザ名にすべきであり、root にしてはいけない。
> Bug information is handled by the Debian Bug Tracking Sys-
> tem. You can browse its database in
> http://www.debian.org/Bugs/. You will receive a notifica-
> tion when the bug is solved.
バグ情報は Debian バグ追跡シス テ ム(Debian Bug Tracking
System) に よっ て 処 理 さ れ る。 こ の デ ータベースは
http://www.debian.org/Bugs/ ま た は
http://www.debian.or.jp/Bugs/ で参照できる。バグが解決され
た時点でその通知が報告者に送られる。
> OPTIONS
> -c Do not include configuration files in the bug
> report.
オプション
-c バグ報告に設定ファイルを含めない。
> -s text
> Set the Subject of the bug report. Otherwise bug
> will ask for a short description of the problem.
-s text
バグ報告の Subject を指定する。これが指定されない場
合、bug は問題の簡単な説明を尋ねてくる。
> -f packagename is a file belonging to the package and
> bug will search for it.
-f packagename は パッ ケージに付属するファイル名であ
り、 bug はそれを検索する。
> -q Submit a quiet bug report (Just register. No e-mail
> forwarding to anyone)
-q "quiet"バグ報告を提出する。(記録を残すのみ。電子 メ
ールは誰にも転送されない。)
> -m Submit a "maintonly" bug report. Only sent to the
> maintainer not to the mailing list.
-m "maintonly"バ グ 報告を提出する。メンテナーのみに送
り、メーリングリストに送らない。
> -d Debug. Dont send the mail to the bug tracking sys-
> tem. Instead sent to postmaster@localhost.
-d デバッグモード。バグ追跡システムに電子メールを送 ら
ない。かわりに postmaster@localhost に送る。
> -p print. Do not send the bug report instead output it
> on stdout so that it can be redirected into a file.
-p print。 バ グ報告を送らず、かわりに標準出力に書き出
す。これをファイルにリダイレクトすることができる。
> -z Do not compress the configfiles by removing empty
> lines and comments.
-z 設定ファイルの圧縮(空行とコメントの削除)を 行 わ な
い。
> -x Do not send a CC to the submitter of the bugreport
-x バグ報告の提出者に CC を送らない。
> -H special_header
> Adds a custom header to generated mail. Can be
> repeated to add multiple custom headers.
-H special_header
生 成したメールにカスタムヘッダを追加する。このオプ
ションを複数指定することにより、複数のカスタム ヘッ
ダを追加できる。
> -j Send mail to Debian JP Project Bug Tracking System.
-j バ グ 報告を Debian JP Proejct バグ追跡システムに送
る。
> -h, --help
> Shows usage info.
-h, --help
使用方法を表示する。
