This is the recent news [11/16/1999 - 11/22/1999] from Debian JP
Project. Debian JP Project has now five open MLs, debian-users,
   debian-devel, debian-doc jp-policy, and jp-qa on debian.or.jp.

   JP Merge Operation (continued)

Taketoshi Sano [4]indicated i386 architecture requires
subarchitechture like i386_pc9801 or i386_towns both of them are
Japanese local architecture but if we can support them, we can do it.
because of the resource limitation, to support these architectures on
potato seems not to be available, but the possibility is not
   absolutely zero.

ja-patch merged dvi2tty had been [5]uploaded by Kenshi Muto.

The newer linux-doc-html-ja will be uploaded by NABETANI Hidenobu on
the end of the month. He [6]communicated with the maintainer of
   doc-linux-ja.

The good sign about Netscape-ja was [7]reported by UNO Takeshi. We
should push libc6 base Netscape because libc5 base Netscape can't
handle Japanese input method at all.

   DDSKK package coming soon announced
. DDSKK is forked revision of SKK, a simple Japanese input method
package, , for further aggressive development.
