というメールが流れたました。もしかすると八田さんのパッチが採用されることに
なるかもしれません。

ところで ja 版の boot-floppies で「 jfbterm が起動しなくなって」という
問題の原因はわかりましたか ?

最新の CVS 環境と、手元にあるパッケージ (リスト添付) とで
 build した standard kernel 用の resc1440.bin / root1400.bin
で起動すると、 cat /proc/devices では fb が見えているし、/dev/fb0 と
いうデバイスファイルも存在しているのに、 /dev/fb0 をオープンできない
というメッセージで jfbterm が終了してしまします。

 fb support が入っていないので仕方無いかな、と思い、試しに
 resc1440.bin の zlinux を手元で make したカーネルと入れ換えて
起動 (boot: linux video=vga:on) してみたら、ちゃんと jfbterm が
起動して dbootstrap へ進むことができました。

ということで、まだ文字化けや罫線化けは残っているけれども、
 ja 版の boot-floppies も一応動く状態にあるようです。
