見てきました。texinfo 形式のマニュアルの翻訳みたいですね。
なかなか分量がありそうです。

   (Alfred V. Aho and Jeffrey D. Ullman; Addison-Wesley, 1977; ISBN
   0-201-00022-9), was the `Green Dragon Book' (1977).  (Also `New
   Dragon Book', `Old Dragon Book'.)  The horsed knight and the
   Green Dragon were warily eying each other at a distance; now the
   knight is typing (wearing gauntlets!) at a terminal showing a
   video-game representation of the Red Dragon's head while the rest

    ドラゴンブック: 古典的教科書 "Compilers: Principles, Techiniques and Tools"
     Alfred V. Aho, Ravi Sethi, Jeffrey D. Ullman 共著 (Addison-Wesley 1986; 
     ISBN 0-201-10088-6), "コンパイラ設計の複雑さ" と銘打たれた竜の絵と
     "LALR パーサー生成" と銘打たれた槍を他の装飾と一緒に持った騎士の絵が
    カバーに描かれていたことからこの名前で呼ばれる。この本はまたより詳しく
     "Red Dragon Book" (1986) とも呼ばれている。これに対して "Principles Of

    油断無く見つめあっている。騎士が (籠手をつけたままで !) 端末に向かって
    キーをタイプしている。端末にはビデオゲームの画面、そこに赤い竜の頭が
    描かれており、竜の首から下は実体となって端末から外に飛び出している。

うーん、どんな絵なのか想像つかないかも。
