現行のWoodyにあるgs 6.53-3に、新しいttf-kochi-mincho/gothic
1.0.20030809-1の組み合わせで実行してみました。やはりクラッシュします。

正常に動作しました。
修正パッケージは、
http://www.debian.or.jp/~kmuto/gs/
に置いておきます。
kochiに限らず特定のTrueTypeフォントのhandlingの修正であり、これによる
弊害も今のところは聞いていません。ON/OFFという機構があえて必要かという
とそれほど必要ないのではないかと思います(性質上、ON/OFFをするのもたい
へんそうです)。

少なくとも問い合わせのあった会社の1つ、FASP.TV(http://www.fasp.tv/)さ
んでは「オフィシャル」という名前は使っていないようです。
「Debian GNU/Linux 30r1 woody DVD-R セットi386+source」のようになって
います。ロゴもオープンロゴのほうです。
Debianの明確なスタンスを出せないため、ディストリビュータがDebianの配布
に二の足を踏んでしまっているという状況になっていないかと危惧しています。
