planning on changing the proposed Policy patch for symbols to make it
more clear that shlibs is an acceptable alternative for C++, and to
patch Lintian to suppress the info tag for no symbols file for C++
libraries.

Russ Allberyが言うんだから、現状でc++にsymbolsを使うのは
無駄な努力なのでしょう。shlibで行くべきなのでしょう。
