Discussion on the ML at Debian.or.jp

  * [jp-policy: 00058] [pod 00575] Call for participation

      + Fumitoshi UKAI, the Debian JP project leader, express the will to participate
        in the Linux L18N project group. For detail information, please refer to the
        below URL.
        http://www.li18nux.org/
        http://www.debian.or.jp/Lists-Archives/jp-policy/199909/msg00005.html

  * [jp-policy: 00060] Re: Deficiencies in Debian

      + Taketoshi Sano posted the translation of the article of Martin Schulze in
        debian-devel@debian.org. <19990913032212.E21536@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
        And Akira YOSHIYAMA, the author of the boot-floppies-ja, indicated crux short
        points on the current boot-floppy system. He said the current one highly
        depends on the Debian version and there's no flexibility against the change of
        the package configuration. The below is a part of list.

          o boot-floppies do the configuration setup after the installation. It should
            be done by the side of package management.
          o boot-floppies checks the package-selection's dependency.
          o To require base system makes the size of Debian archive large and also
            makes boot-floppy the Debian version specific one.

  * [jp-policy: 00061] Re: yup, we are dead ... NOT

      + Also Taketoshi Sano's work for information about debian-devel@debian.org. He
        translates the <19990913153021.D352@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> .

        http://www.debian.or.jp/Lists-Archives/jp-policy/199909/msg00008.html

  * [jp-policy: 00062] Re: Quality Assurance in Debian (Debian

      + Yet another Taketoshi Sano's work for information about
        debian-devel@debian.org. He translates the content of the following URL.
        http://tux.u-strasbg.fr/~raphael/qa/doc/qa.html/

        http://www.debian.or.jp/Lists-Archives/jp-policy/199909/msg00009.html

  * [debian-devel:10391] deb-fakeserv (Virtual apt server?)

      + Kiwamu Okabe posted the location of beta of the virtual apt server. It
        communicates with the Debian installation method like apt and if the server
        receives the request from client, returns the requested packages by
        dpkg-repacking from server's archive. It would be useful in the case that you
        want to install Debian to your friends machine. Please visit the below

        1999. It plots the transition of the number of the BUGs as well as the
        accumulated number of BUGs. Gzipped PS result is attached.
