   This is the recent news [12/5/1999 - 12/12/1999] from Debian JP
   Project. Debian JP Project has now five open MLs, debian-users,
   debian-devel, debian-doc jp-policy, and jp-qa on debian.or.jp.

   JP Merge Operation (continued)
   
   Y2K for Slink-JP has been [4]checked at once.
   
   Taketoshi Sano has been [5]communicating to fix the sgml-tools
   problem. He [6]NMUed the fixed version of sgml-tools that can deal
   with Japanese characters correct.
   
   To remove unproper copyright document from gs, Taketoshi Sano
   [7]submitted BTS.
   
   The proposal to create local cvs server for document translation
   seemed to be accepted by the JP docuement team member. Keita Maehara,
   the JP translation coordinator [8]forwarded the email of James (Jay)
   Treacy at debian-www and some people seconded to this proposal.
