<b>Debian Project リーダ立候補者、IRC 討論会に参加。</b>
討論会では、新メンテナ問題、成長する Debian への対応、他の OS への移植、
Debian 秘密グループの悪い噂 (the infamous Debian cabal)、Debian の将来などが
議論されました。この討論は

され、利用できるよう用意されています。また、

には立候補者の演説が掲載されていて、立候補者を知るための

| Speaking as release manager, Richard Braakman outlined his
| <a href="../../../../Lists-Archives/debian-devel-announce-0002/msg00011.html">
| new plan</a> for cutting down on the number of
| <a href="http://master.debian.org/~wakkerma/bugs/";>release critical
| bugs</a>. The plan centers around the "<i>Bug Horizon</i>", which is now set
| for the 28th. <b>Any package that passes through the bug horizon with release
| critical bugs that have been unchanged for 2 weeks will be removed from
| Debian.</b> This is rather draconian, but seems likely to be quite effective at
| motivating people to fix release critical bugs!

Richard Braakman は、リリースマネージャとして、

の数を削減するための

中心に考えられています。
<b>バグの地平線を越えた時点で、リリースクリティカルバグを2週間放置してある
どんなパッケージでも、Debian から削除します。</b>
これはとても厳しい内容ですが、とても効果的に、メンテナに
リリースクリティカルバグを修正する気にさせたようです!
