「sensible」の適切な訳語がわからないので調べたのですが、
この機能に相当する用語が日本語で使われていないように思えます。
Debian alternatives システムは静的なプログラム選択 (代替)
のようですが、sensible-* は動的に最適なプログラムを動的に
(実行時に) 選択する仕組みであるようですが、この理解で
合っているでしょうか?

1 つの訳語の案はカタカナ表記の「センシブル」ですが、
現在の「機能的な」がよいか、または他の訳がないか
コメントをいただけるとうれしいです。

「spawn」は「select」とセットになる機能を表わすので、
「起動」は適切だと思います。なお、「select」と「spawn」は
同時に (順番に) される処理なので、
「選択したり起動したりするために」
よりも
「選択・起動するために」
の方が実態に合っていると思います。

「specific A includes (are):」のspecificは、「特定の」より
「具体的な」の方が適していないでしょうか?
(よく使われる表現です)
