[debian-users:05023] XFree86 3.3 for TP560

を参考に，debian1.3.1をTP560に導入しています
一度はファイルシステムが飛んだものの，
なんとかXFree86 3.3を導入したところ，見事に800x600になる
のですが１６色表示しかしません
同ホームページに書いてあるstartx scriptを-bpp 16としても
startx時には
(**) SVGA: Using 16bpp, Depth 16, Color weight:565
というのは出るのですが
(--) SVGA: Using 8 bits per RGB value
というのは出ません

どうすれば良いのでしょうか？

なお以下のXF86Configファイルは
