はじめてMLで質問させて頂く塩見と申します。
メールの設定などに不備がありましたら御指摘ください。
Debian を昨年の12月頃にCompaq LTE5100に入れまして、快適に使用させて
頂いてます。
現在はboからhammの環境にアップグレードして使用しています。
さて先日、Dell OptiPlex4100/MTe に hamm をインストールしてみました。
インストールディスクをサイトから持って来て、FDD経由でBase Systemを
インストールし、リブートしました。
ここで、ネットワーク関係のトラブルが発生しました。
どうやら、ネットワークカードは認識している様なのですが、pingを打つと、
eth0: trigger_send() called with the transmitter busy.
と返して来て、その後数分に一度位にこれを繰り返し表示します。
'^C'でプログラムを終了させると
XX packets transmitted, 0 packets recieved, 100% packet loss.
となります。
使用しているカードはアライドテレシス LA-ISA PNP ISA Ethernet
/var/log/syslogで関係していそうなメッセージを拾うと、

こんな感じです。
cable problem? と出たのですが、Win95が入っていたときは正常にネットワークに
接続できたので、ケーブルの問題ではなさそうです。
ケーブルは現在メインで使っているCompaqと同じハブに継っていて、Compaqは普通に
ネットワークが使えています。
なにか気づいた点などがありましたらアドバイスを宜しくお願いします。
