三木＠神戸大学です。

 
いまだ、ネットスケープがインストールできないでいます。石川睦さんのアドバイ
スでなんとかFDがマウントできFTP経由で手に入れた、netscape4_4_0-10.debをｄｅ
ｂｉａｎに入れることに成功しました。「入れる」とは、ＦＤでマウントして
netscape4_4_0-10.deb   ／ｈome  へ コピーしたということです。

繰り返しになりますが。何がやりたいか言えば。「ネットスケープ４．０４のイン
ストールです。現時点で、ネットスケープ４．０４、具体的には
communicator-v404-export.x86-unknown-linux2.0.tar.gzを／ｔｍｐにコピーして
おります。よって、 netscape4_4_0-10.deb を dpkg -i
すればインストールできるハズであろうと思っていました。


ところが・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
・・・・・・・・・・・・。



This release is for a different version of nescape than the one installed.

please 'dpkg --purge netscape4' and reinstall this package.You will need

the original v4 communicator source archive from netsacpe to do this .

Place the source archive  in /tmp .


dpkg  error  processing netscape4_4_0-10.deb(--install)

error were  encountered while  processing   netscape4_4_0-10.deb


と出ます。



どうしたら良いでしょうか？
