[debian-users:06105] [Q] font of WindowMaker

村上＠早大建築学科です

WindowMaker(たしか、I18N されていたと思うのですが) で、メッセージが文字
化けしてしまいます

例えば メニューで WindowManagers->Exit と選んだ時などのメッセージなので
すが・・・

/usr/doc/FAQ.gz をみて、設定をしてみたのですがうまくいきません
どなたか日本語を表示する方法を教えていただけないでしょうか？

以下に、手がかりとなりそうな情報を示します

Debian GNU/Linux hamm + hamm-jp で、

xserver-freetype-s3_3.3.2.f-4
wmaker_0.14.1-5
wmaker-superfluous_0.14.1-5
wmaker-traditional_0.14.1-5
wmaker-data_0.6-1
locales_2.0.7pre1-4.wcsmbs.1
locale-ja_2.2.1

などが入っていて、

~/GNUStep/Defaults/WindowMaker は

  WindowTitleFont = "-*-*-medium-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*";
  MenuTitleFont = "-*-*-*-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*";
  MenuTextFont = "-*-*-medium-r-normal-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*";
  IconTitleFont = "-*-*-medium-r-normal-*-8-*-*-*-*-*-*-*";
  DisplayFont = "-*-*-medium-r-normal-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*";

のみ、変更しました

xfontsel で、
-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-jisx0208.1983-*
とするとちゃんと日本語フォントが表示されます

~/.xsession-errors に
