東北大学電気通信研究所の荒船です．
netscape の日本語入力が
未だにできていません．
いろいろ試してはいたのですが，全然進展しないので御知恵を拝借できれば幸いです．
インストールされている netscape は
ii netscape-ja v404-1.1 Installer for Netscape communicator, navigat
ですし，(muriyari-ja がちゃんと表示されます)
インストールされている kinput2 は
ii kinput2-canna 2.0.4-2 An input server for easy input of Japanese t
です．今さっきインストールしてみました
canna 関係は
ii canna 3.5b2-14 A japanese input system (server and dictiona
ii canna-utils 3.5b2-14 A japanese input system (utility).
がインストールされており，emacs20で使えています．
printenv の出力には
XMODIFIERS=@im=kinput2
LANG=ja_JP.ujis
が書かれていますし，
.Xresouce に
KTerm*VT100*Translations: #override\
Shift<Key>space: begin-conversion(_JAPANESE_CONVERSION)
Netscape*inputMethod: kinput2
Netscape*international: True
Netscape*useStderrDialog: False
Netscape*useStdoutDialog: False
を記載してあります．
実際 xclipboard に対しては日本語入力が可能です．
日本語の表示まではすっかり旨くいっているんですが， kinput2 を
用いた日本語入力がさっぱりできません．
もちろん netscape の起動前に
kinput2 -canna -cs localhost &
を行っています．( .xsession 中で)
emacs からの copy & paste は可能なので，全くできないわけではないのですが
どうも気分が悪いです．
長いこと，あれやこれややっていたんですが，全然ダメなので，
みなさんの御知恵を拝借できれば幸いです．
まだ．チェックしなければ行けない項目はありますでしょうか？
# それとも netscape-ja v405 を待った方がいいのかなあ
