Don't worry about it. I can read japanese characters though still can't
write japanese e-mail...:-(
It's a long story my mistake in update slink...getting better.
Could anyone help me about followings ?
1. Wnn6 has been installed OK but fail to start jserver.
/etc/init.d/wnn6 start returns the error:
" /usr/bin/Wnn6/jserver : Can't bind inet-socket "
2. With dselect (apt), some packages tried to make diversion and it seemed
to be failed. How to solve 'diversion' manually ?
ex.
Unpacking libpaperg (from libpaperg_1.0.3-11.deb) ...
Adding `diversion of /usr/bin/paperconf to /usr/bin/paperconf.libc5 by libpaperg'
dpkg-divert: rename involves overwriting `/usr/bin/paperconf.libc5' with
different file `/usr/bin/paperconf', not allowed
dpkg: error processing libpaperg_1.0.3-11.deb (--unpack):
subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 2
[My failed update story...]
1. Update libc6 to 2.0.7u-6 with libstdc++2.9-2.91.59-1.
2. Somehow ppxp started to say "undefined symbol: __register_frame_info"
3. I upset and down grade libc6 to 2.0.7t-5 from hamm(2.02) CD-ROM.
4. I become not to be able to login.
(login process was looping. Time after time "login prompt" appeared.
5. Re-inatalled hamm( only .../main/base/* ) from CD-ROM.
I didn't format any of partitions.
