[debian-users:12134] 対応していないビデオカードでＶＧＡ１６でＸを使いたい

いつもお世話になってます　Ｓｈｕｊｉ（初心者）と申します。

本（Debian GNU/Linux日本語ワークステーション構築入門　主婦の友社刊）
からDebianV2.0をインストールしたのですが、Ｘｗｉｎｄｏｗの設定で
はまっています。
ＸＦ８６Ｓｅｔｕｐは正常におわっているようなのですが、startxでは
エラーがでるのです。（一番最後に表示します。）
ビデオカードを調べたところ対応していないことがわかりました。
（CirrusLogicCLGD5425）
これをVGA16で設定したつもりなのですが、次のようなエラーがでています。
どなたか、対応策の分かる方どうぞお助け下さい。
