[debian-users:14043] [Q] Communicator 4.5 の日本語フォントが逆イタリックになる

# 最近質問ばかりですみません ^_^;

Linux Japan Vol.5 の石川さんの記事と /usr/doc/xserver-xtt-svga/X-TT/ 内の
文書を参考に X-TT の設定を行っているのですが、Communicator がらみで
どうも妙な感じなのでよろしければご教示下さい。

症状ですが、<h?></h?> など以外の日本語フォントの表示が全て逆イタリック `ri' に
なってしまうのです。font.dir の指定自体は間違っていないように
思われるのですが…

# xfontsel で確認しても、r, i, ri, o, ro 全て期待通りに表示されます。
# 最初はてっきり r と ri の ai= 指定を取り違えたと思ったのですが…

Communicator の方ではプロポーショナル、固定幅ともに
同じフォントを指定しています。font.dir は以下のようなものです。

あ、あと LJ Vol.5 の 54 ページリスト4で、10 - 12 行目と 13 - 15 行目が
全く同一に思われるのですが、これはイタリックを２回指定しなければ
ならないということなのでしょうか？
