[debian-users:19172] JDK_1.2.2_RC1

たはら＠会津大です．

blackdown.org の最新の JDK がリリースされたようなので，試してみたとこ
ろ GUI アプリがまともに表示されませんでした．README.linux には

* Motif is no longer statically linked in to the executables.  This
  means that the disk footprint is smaller, and start times,
  especially for non-GUI applications, should be better.

なんて書かれているので lesstifg のせいかと思えばそうでもないし (と言う
より，lesstifg がなくても起動します)，かなり不可解です．試したアプリは
demo/jfc/SwingSet/SwingSet.jar なのですが，起動はするのですがウィンド
ウ内の表示が崩れてまったく使い物になりません．

java のバージョンは

% java -version
java version "1.2.2"
Classic VM (build Linux_JDK_1.2.2_RC1, green threads, sunwjit)

となっています．RH6.1 ではちゃんと動作することを確認しました．Debian
potato で開発されているのに Debian で動作しないのはなぜなんでしょう？(汗
