バグの内容は理解できてないのですが gs-ja 5.50 
で pnmraw は含まれてるようです。

意味が違うようでしたら reopen してください。

Binary `gs-ja' is compiled with no `pnmraw' device.
When I've installed `gs-ja':
: $ gs -h | grep pnmraw
: $ 

When I've installed `gs (5.10-1)' instead of `gs-ja':
: $ gs -h | grep pnmraw
:    pcx24b pcxcmyk pbm pbmraw pgm pgmraw pgnm pgnmraw pnm pnmraw ppm ppmraw
: $ 

Result of this:
This lack of the `pnmraw' device limits a MagicPoint(mgp)'s function;
I fail to load an EPS file onto a presentation screen.
Perhaps `mgp' uses the `pnmraw' device of `gs' (or `gs-ja')
to convert an EPS image to a raw bitmap image(I don't know the detail).

I use Debian 2.1 now.
