チェック以前の問題でした。

    $ sudo mount -v /dev/sda8 /local
    mount: you didn't specify a filesystem type for /dev/sda8
           I will try all types mentioned in /etc/filesystems or /proc/filesystems
    Trying reiserfs
    mount: you must specify the filesystem type
    $ sudo mount -t reiserfs /dev/sda8 /local
    mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda8,
           or too many mounted file systems

reiserfsck してみましたが、以下の通り、問題なしと言う診断されました。

    $ sudo reiserfsck /dev/sda8 
    <-----------REISERFSCK, 2000----------->
    ReiserFS version 3.5.29
    Will read-only check consistency of the partition
    Will replay just like mounting would
    Do you want to run this program?[N/Yes] (note need to type Yes):Yes
    Replaying journal..ok
    Checking S+tree..ok
    Comparing bitmaps..ok

素直に 2.4.1 に更新するべきなのかなぁ。でも、2.4.1 のバグの話も聞こえ
てくるしなぁ。
