[debian-users:33964] ThinkPad560 Woody インストール

田中久太郎です。

woodyがリリースされたので、手持ちのThinkPad560に素の状態からイン
ストールしています。
なおThinkPad560には PCMCIAのLANカード 3Com 3C589Dを挿していま
す。

http://plat.debian.or.jp/debian/dists/woody/main/disks-i386/3.0.23-2002-05-21/images-1.44/
から、フロッピーイメージをダウンロードしてフロッピーを作成して、
インストールを開始。
Partition, Initialize, KernelとDriverのインストールと順調にいっ
ていたのですが、PCMCIAをセッティングしてネットワーク設定を行った
あと、

Your network is configured, but not activated. This may be 
caused by a broken previous installation attempt, or because 
you are installing over another installation. It is ok to skip 
this step if you dou not need to use the network for the rest 
of the instllation, since your network will become active 
after reboot (assuming it is setup properly).

というメッセージが出て、 Base System のネットワークインストール
へ進むことができません。

ちなみに PCMCIAのセッティングでは、i82365 を選択し、オプションは
無しにしてます。
ネットワークの設定では、eth0 は PCMCIAですね？と聞かれるので
<Yes>と答えてます。DHCP/BOOTPは<No>にし、続いてIPアドレス等を設
定しています。

potatoのインストールのときは全く同じ設定で問題なく通過する場所な
のですが、何がいけないのでしょうか？
PCMCIA関係のプログラム周りに変更があったのでしょうか？

どこをどう調べて修正すれば、インストールできるようになるのでしょ
う？何か情報をお持ちの方は教えてください。よろしくお願いします。
