最終分の them は「応募者」でいいのでしょうか？
この段落で複数形になっている人は "application managers"と"new
applicants"です．
普通は，人称代名詞は近い名詞を受けます．

最終文の"Some of them also get bored by the repetition."  に近いのは 
application managers のほうですから，応募者じゃなくて応募管理者と訳
すべきなのではないでしょうか．

また，"Some of them also get bored by the repetition."は，「説明」で
リンクされているメールの以下の文面をそのまま受けてのものでしょう．

主語は AMs で 動詞部分は tend to get bored by the repetition; です．
何回も繰り返されて嫌気がさしているのは application managers ってことですね．
