<p><strong>Finnish Debian Community honoured.</strong> Lars Wirzenius <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2006/02/msg00002.html";>reported</a>
that the Finnish Debian community has been <a
href="http://liw.iki.fi/liw/misc/flug-2006-kunniamaininta-pieni.png";>honoured</a>
by the Finnish Linux User's Group (FLUG).  Every year since 2002
FLUG gives out an award to the people or organisations who have worked well
to promote GNU/Linux in Finland.  This year the main award was given to the
Finnish translators of OpenOffice.org.</p>

普及に貢献した個人や組織に賞を贈っています。今年の大賞は、OpenOffice.org を
フィンランド語にローカライズした人々に授与されました。</p>

<p><strong>Call for Project Leader Nominations.</strong> Manoj Srivastava <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-vote/2006/02/msg00243.html";>called</a>
for nominations for the upcoming project leader election.  The nomination
period will end on February 26th, followed by the campaigning period until
March 19th and the voting period until April 9th.  Prospective leaders should
be familiar with the constitution and their platform statements will be
published on the <a href="$(HOME)/vote/">voting pages</a>.</p>

Manoj Srivastava さんは、まもなく行なわれるプロジェクトリーダー選挙への

募集しました</a>。立候補の締切りは 2 月 26 日で、引き続き選挙運動期間は
3 月 19 日、投票期間は 4 月 9 日までとなっています。将来のリーダーは
Debian 憲章に精通していることが求められており、候補者の所信表明は

投票ページ</a>で公表されます。</p>
