今年の第 7 号へようこそ。Lars Wirzenius さんは、これから行なわれる Debian の

<p><strong>Delivering Free Software at 2&nbsp;Gbit/s.</strong> Mattias Wadenstein
published <a

details</a> on how the <a href="http://www.acc.umu.se/";>Academic Computer
Club</a> at <a href="http://www.umu.se/";>Ume&aring; University</a>, Sweden, managed
to saturate the 2&nbsp;Gbit/s of available Internet bandwidth with a cluster of machines
and http redirects.  New releases made by large Free Software projects usually
means that a lot of people want the new release immediately, and the Debian Sarge
release followed by an Ubuntu release were no exceptions.</p>
