  The bnx2 driver for Broadcom NetXtreme II network controllers has been
  modified to load firmware files from the filesystem. These firmware files
  are provided in the
  <a href="http://packages.debian.org/etch/firmware-bnx2";>firmware-bnx2</a>
  package in the non-free section of the archive. Systems that require the
  bnx2 driver must have the firmware-bnx2 package installed to function with
  the 2.6.24 <q>etch-and-a-half</q> kernel. These devices will not be
  available at installtime when using a Debian <q>lenny</q>-based installer.

  files are provided in the
  <a href="http://packages.debian.org/etch/firmware-iwlwifi";>firmware-iwlwifi</a>
  package in the non-free section of the archive. For information about
  migrating from the ipw3945 driver to the iwl3945 driver you should review the

    <li>Support for the sensor chip to control the fan is now included
    thanks to Riku Voipio.</li>

      <li>A kernel crash with bitmapped md device has been fixed (see bug
      <a href="http://bugs.debian.org/443373";>#443373</a>).</li>
      <li>More modules have been activated, for example more netfilter
      modules.</li>

  <li><strong>ARM ixp4xx (Linksys NSLU2)</strong>

  performing a new etch install of your system using the Debian
  <q>lenny</q>-based installer, an updated aboot package will automatically
  be used. To migrate an existing etch system to the 2.6.24
  <q>etch-and-a-half</q> kernel, you must update to the latest aboot package
  in etch and manually update the boot block on your disk with the swriteboot
  command. See swriteboot(8) for more information.</li>
  <li><strong>SRM ベースの Alpha システム</strong><br />
