における GNOME 2 から GNOME 3 への移行</a>に関する記事を書きました。<q>多数の GNOME
ソースパッケージを一緒に使っている場合、多くのパッケージは新しいライブラリを必要とし、
さらに悪い場合は、互換性の無い API を必要とする。互換性の無い API
はさらに多くの無関係のパッケージに影響を及ぼし、さらに状況は悪化する。
このため、何らかのプランを練る必要がある。</q>と Jordi さんは述べました。
円滑な移行プランを練ったにもかかわらず、チームは多くの困難に遭遇しました。例えば、
いくつかのアーキテクチャにおけるソースビルドの失敗、他のパッケージとの非互換性、等です。
最終的に GNOME シェル 3.2 は Debian テスト版に移行され、Jordi さんは Debian
