の調査を解析する</a>記事を書きました。フリーソフトウェア財団の執行役員である John
さんは <q>コピーレフトはでっち上げされたものなのか?</q>というタイトルで FOSDEM
2012 にて行われた講演の中で、Debian <q>Squeeze</q> に含まれるパッケージの内 93%
が GPL 関係のライセンス (GPL、Affero GPL、LGPL)
の下にリリースされており、以前のリリースから継続的に著しく増加している。と述べました。

講演で挙げられた数字は既存の Debian
ツールを使って計算されましたが、Russ Allbery さんは、ここで使われたツールは<a
href="http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/journal/2012-02/002.html";>このような目的のために作られたものではない</a>ため、
現在のデータは予備的なものでしかないと述べました。</p>
