鍋谷です。久々にマニュアルの翻訳をしました。
チェックをお願いします。

説明
dbuild はDebian ソースパッケージから Debian バイナリパッケ
ージを構築する。引数に指定できるのは Debian .dsc ファ イ
ル、ディレクトリ名 (この場合 dbuild は指定されたディレクト
リにある全ての .dsc ファイルをサーチする)、 FTP 又は HTTP
URL アドレスである。 FTP URL でディレクトリを指定する場合
は最後の文字がスラッシュ(/) でなければならないことに注意す
ること。
> The system must have all tools necessary to build the
> packages installed. Debian source packages do not yet
> support source or build dependencies.
システムにはあらかじめパッケージ構築に必要な全てのツールが
インストールされていなくてはならない。Debian ソースパッ ケ
ージはソースの依存関係や構築時の依存関係をサポートしていな
い。
> dbuild saves the log file from failed builds to the file
> FAILED/foo.message (where foo is the name and version of
> the package). Check that file to see why the package
> failed to build, and either fix problems in the build
> environment (e.g., missing build tools), or report a bug
> to the Debian bug system, if it is a problem with the
> package.
構築に 失 敗 し た 場 合 dbuild は、 ロ グ ファ イ ル を
FAILED/foo.message に保存する(ここで foo とはパッケージ名
とそのバージョンである)。このファイルからパッケージ構築 に
失 敗した原因を調べ、各自の構築環境の問題(例えば、構築に必
要なツールが無い等)を修正するか、パッケージ側に問題があ る
場合は Debian バグシステムにバグ報告する。
> dbuild saves the log file from successful builds to the
> file OK/foo.message, and also copies the .dsc, .deb, and
> .changes files to the OK directory. The next run of
> dbuild will check these files (in FAILED and OK, and also
> in IGNORED) and skip packages that have already been built
> or that are known not to build. Remove these files (or
> just the relevant lines of these files) to make dbuild re-
> try the build.
構 築 に成功した場合 dbuild は、ログファイルを OK/foo.mes-
sage, に保存し、同時に .dsc, .deb, .changes ファイルも OK
ディ レクトリにコピーする。次回 dbuild が実行される際に、(
FAILED 、 OK 、又は IGNORED にある)上記の ファ イ ル 群 を
チェックして、構築済のパッケージや構築できないことが分かっ
ているパッケージはスキップする。これらのファイル(又は、 こ
れ らのファイルの該当する行)を削除すれば、 dbuild は構築を
再試行する。
> run-dbuild is a script that runs dbuild and then builds a
> set of web pages that let people easily browse the build
> logs.
run-dbuild は、 dbuild を実行させ、構築ログを参照しやす い
ようなウェブページを作るためのスクリプトである。
> OPTIONS
> These options apply to dbuild, not to run-dbuild.
オプション
以下のオプションは、 dbuild に適用される。 run-dbuild には
適用されない。
> -v, --verbose
> Tell more about each step in the building process.
構築プロセスを各段階でより詳しく報告する。
> -V, --verbose-logs
> Make the build logs contain more information.
構築ログにより詳しい情報を含める。
> -u foo, --username foo
> The address (`foo') used as the maintainer address
> for dpkg-buildpackage.
dpkg-buildpackage で使用されるメンテナーアドレス を
アドレス (`foo') にする。
> -r root-command, --root root-command
> Choose the command to gain root priviledges. Cer-
> tain parts of the build process needs to be run as
> root. However, the fakeroot command can run other
> commands and make them think they're running as
> root. This is good enough for building Debian
> packages, even though the command doesn't actually
> give any root priviledges; this is the default. If
> you don't have fakeroot, you can use -r to use sudo
> instead, for example. Straight su won't work due
> to differences in argument passing.
ル ート権限を得るためのコマンドを選択する。構築プロ
セスのある段階ではルートとして実行する必要があ る。
し かしながら、 fakeroot コマンドを使えば、他のコマ
ンドをルートで実行させているように見せかけること が
で きる。そのコマンドが実際にルート権限を与えていな
くても、 Debian パッケージを構築することは十分可 能
で あ り、fakeroot がデフォルトで使用される。 fake-
root がない場合は、 -r オプションによ り、 例 え ば
sudo などを代わりに使用できる。引数の引き渡しの相違
のために、直接 su を使用することはできない。
> -m addresss, --mail address
> Set the address where build logs should be mailed.
構築ログをメールで送信するアドレスを設定する。
> -k keyring.pgp, --keyring keyring.pgp
> Set the PGP keyring used to check package files.
> Default is /usr/doc/debian/debian-keyring.pgp.
パッケージファイルをチェックするために使用する PGP
keyring を 設 定 す る。 デ フォ ル ト は
/usr/doc/debian/debian-keyring.pgp である。
> -u umask, --umask umask
> Set the umask for the process. Default is inher-
> ited from the parent process.
プロセスに対する umask を設定する。デフォルトでは親
プロセスの umask を引き継ぐ。
> -f, --fix-for-frozen
> Modify the debian/changelog file for the package to
> make uploads to go the frozen part of the distribu-
> tion, in addition to whatever has been specified in
> the changelog already.
debian/changelog ファイルに指定されているディストリ
ビューションに加えて、 frozen ディストリビュー ショ
ンにもッケージをアップロードするよう changelog ファ
イルを修正する。
> --mail-maintainer
> Mail the build log to the maintainer. You probably
> shouldn't use this option.
構築ログをメンテナーに電子メールで報告する。この オ
プションを使用する必要はほとんどない。
> -s, --no-signatures
> Do not PGP sign the packages that have been built.
構築したパッケージに PGP 署名しない。
> --no-signature-checks
> Do not check the PGP signatures on the .dsc files.
> Use this option with extreme care.
.dsc ファイルの PGP 署名をチェックしない。
このオプションの使用には 最大限の注意を払うこと。
> -p, --check-pgppass
> Check the PGPPASS environment variable and refuse
> to continue if it is not the correct PGP
> passphrase. Note that using PGPPASS can be a secu-
> rity hazard.
PGPPASS 環境変数をチェックし、PGP パスフレーズが正
しくない場合は実行を中断する。 PGPPASS の使用 は セ
キュリティ上の危険が伴なうことに注意すること。
> -c, --check-configsite
> Check that the CONFIG_SITE environment variable is
> set. It can be used to speed up GNU autoconf gen-
> erated configure scripts.
CONFIG_SITE 環 境 変数が設定されているかチェックす
る。 configure スクリプトを生成する GNU autoconf の
実行を速くしたい場合に使用する。
> -C, --clean-fetched
> Remove all files fetched via the network. This
> helps keep disk usage at a minimum.
ネッ トワークから取得した全てのファイルを削除する。
これはディスク使用量を最小限に留めるのに有 効 で あ
る。
> -a, --build-all
> Build even packages that are architecture indepen-
> dent, not just packages that need to be compiled on
> the platform dbuild is running on.
dbuild が実行されているプラットフォームでコンパイル
する必要のあるパッケージだけでなく、アーキテク チャ
に依存しないパッケージも構築する。
> --build-source
> Re-build source packages.
ソースパッケージも再構築する。
> CONFIGURATION
> dbuild can be configured by creating the file .dbuildrc in
> the home directory. It should be a shell script in
> /bin/sh syntax and may set the following variables (corre-
> sponding option given in parentheses): keyring (-k);
> rootcmd (-r); username (-u); mailto (-m); mail_maintainer
> (--mail-maintainer; value should be `yes' or `no');
> sign_changes (-s); check_pgppass (-p); check_configsite
> (-c); verbose (-v; value should be `yes' or `no'); ver-
> obse_logs (-V; value should be `yes' or `no');
> fix_for_frozen (-f; value should be `yes' or `no');
> clean_fetched (-C; value should be `yes' or `no');
> build_all (-a; value should be `yes' or `no');
設定
dbuild は、ホームディレクトリのファイル .dbuildrc により設
定を行うことができる。このファイルは、 /bin/sh 構文によ る
シェルスクリプトであり、次の変数を設定することができる (対
応するコマンドラインオプションは括弧に 与 え る): keyring
(-k); rootcmd (-r); username (-u); mailto (-m); mail_main-
tainer (--mail-maintainer; 値は`yes'ま た は`no'で あ る);
sign_changes (-s); check_pgppass (-p); check_configsite
(-c); verbose (-v; 値 は`yes'ま た は`no'で あ る); ver-
obse_logs (-V; 値は`yes'または`no'である); fix_for_frozen
(-f; 値は`yes'または`no'であ る); clean_fetched (-C; 値
は`yes'ま た は`no'で あ る); build_all (-a; 値は`yes'また
は`no'である);
> BUGS
> HTTP URLs that refer to directories are not yet imple-
> mented.
バグ
ディレクトリを参照する HTTP URL の指定は実装されていない。
> If a build fails after dpkg-buildpackage has been called,
> i.e., while log files and built packages are being moved
> to the OK subdirectory, dbuild will do stupid things.
> Fixing this requires a rewrite, which will happen fairly
> soon, hopefully.
dpkg-buildpackage が呼び出された後で、つまりログファイルと
構築されたパッケージを OK サブディレクトリに移動中に構築が
失 敗した場合、 dbuild は stupid things である。この修正に
は書き直しが必要であり、早急に行うのが望ましい。
