訳文: ビジュアル的に類似または同じ画像を見つけます

「visually similar」は「視覚的な類似性」、「duplicate」は「重複」が
適当ではないかと思います。

ここで「visually」と付いているのは、(純粋な数学的な手法などではなく)
人間の視覚の特性に基づいた手法を採用しているためだと思われます。

そこで、この文は次のように直してみました。
「視覚的な類似画像と重複画像の検出」

findimagedupes is a commandline utility which performs a rough
"visual diff" to two images. This allows you to compare two
images or a whole tree of images and determine if any are
similar or identical. On common image types, findimagedupes
seems to be around 98% accurate.

訳文:
findimagedupes は二つの画像のラフな "ビジュアル的 diff"
を実行するコマンドラインユーティリティです。二つの画像もしくは
画像ツリー全体を比較し、画像が似ているか、又は同じものかどうかを
判定できます。一般的な画像形式について、findimagedupes は
約 98% の精度を発揮します。


「ビジュアル的 diff」は「視覚的な差分」と訳せると思います。
「similar or identical」は「類似あるいは同一」がわかりやすいと思います。
以上より、次のように修正しました。

findimagedupes は二つの画像のラフな「視覚的な差分」を実行するコマンド
ラインユーティリティです。二つの画像間もしくは画像ツリー全体を比較し、
画像が類似または同一であることを判定できます。一般的な画像形式について、
findimagedupes は約 98% の精度を発揮します。


以上のように修正して、処理しました。
