これでやってみました。ところが。。。

のように hd0(=hda) 以外は Disk read error になってしまい
ました？？？ hd1(=sda) で動いてる、この Debian は幻？？？

ちなみに hd1(=sda), hd2(=sdb) は拡張パーティションあり
ですが、関係ないですよね。hd3(=sdc) は基本パーティション
だけでも Disk read error になってるし。

# 拡張パーティションの場合、例えば下の sda5 を指定する
# には (hd1,?) は幾つになるのでしょう？

dmesg の表示では以下のようになります。

Partition check:
 sda: sda1 sda2 sda3 < sda5 sda6 > sda4
 sdb: sdb1 sdb2 sdb3 < sdb5 sdb6 sdb7 > sdb4
 sdc: sdc1 sdc2 sdc3 sdc4
 hda: hda1

grub は使えないシステムだったのか。。。！？
何か情報あればご教示ください。
