例えば goo の検索にカット＆ペーストで日本語を入れるとその瞬間に
scorpion:$ netscape
/usr/bin/X11/netscape: line -180: 10217 バスエラー LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/netscape/base-4/libnsfix-wcsmbs.so" /usr/lib/netscape/472/communicator//communicator-smotif.real http://www.yynet.tama.tokyo.jp/
と落ちます。最初は skkinput の日本語入力が問題のかと思っていたんですが、
環境変数 XMODIFIERS を設定しない状態で、他の kterm などからのカット＆
ペーストでも落ちるので、skkinput は問題ないんでしょう。
もちろんコマンドラインから
scorpion:$ LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/netscape/base-4/libnsfix-wcsmbs.so" /usr/lib/netscape/472/communicator//communicator-smotif.real
としても「バスエラー」と一言だけ残して逝ってしまします。
