アクトンテクノロジーのSMC7004BR

というルーターにプリントサーバがついておりまして、これをDebianで使いた
いと思っています。アクトンテクノロジーに問い合わせたところ、プリントサー
バは、UNIXには対応していないとの返事をいただきました。
しかし、プロトコルにLPRを利用しているとのことですので、Vine2.0で試した
ところ動作しまして、プリントサーバとして使用できました。ですが、Debian
でやろうとすると全く反応がありません。
また、このルーターはブラウザーで設定するようになっているのですが、
Debian からだとなぜか接続を拒否されてつながりません。Vineだとちゃんと
つながるのです。これらの違いで考えられる原因はなんでしょうか？

環境
Debian woody kernel-2.4.3

となります。やはり接続を拒否されているようです。


うまくいった Vine 2.0 の /etc/printcap は、

Debian woody だとなぜ接続を拒否されるのかが分かりません。
Vine 2.0 とどのあたりが違ってこのようになるのでしょうか？
