[debian-users:31473] console-common の install 失敗

東村です。

この1週間ほどの間に、woodyのマシンを5台ほどupgradeしたのですが、
そのうち3台で、console-common のinstallが失敗します。

Setting up console-common (0.7.12) ...
Looking for keymap to install:
jp106
Loading /etc/console/boottime.kmap.gz
/etc/console/boottime.kmap.gz:277: parse error
syntax error in map file
key bindings not changed
dpkg: error processing console-common (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

このような感じです。だいたい1週間に1度ほどupgradeしているので、
console-common の現在のバージョンからだと思われます。
post-installation スクリプトの途中ということで、これから
調べてみなければと思っているのですが、何か情報を持っておられる
方がおられれば提供していただければ幸いです。

カーネルは失敗するマシンが
2.4.6 自家製コンパイル
2.4.14-686
2.2.19pre17

成功しているのが
2.2.19 自家製コンパイル
2.4.? 別の場所にあるので現時点で不明

で相関があるようには見えません。
また、問題の/etc/console/boottime.kmap.gz を見てみますと、

274: string Next = "\033[6~"
275: string Macro = "\033[M"
276: string Pause = "\033[P"
277: compose '`' 'A' to '
278: compose '`' 'a' to '

となっており、277行目以下があきらかにおかしい。正常なファイルは

274: string Next = "\033[6~"
275: string Macro = "\033[M"
276: string Pause = "\033[P"
277: compose '`' 'A' to '\xc0'
278: compose '`' 'a' to '\xe0'

となります。post-installation スクリプトか、pre-installation
スクリプトが、/etc/console/boottime.kmap.gz を書き換えて
しまう際に不具合を起こしているのだと思われます。
