[debian-users:33736] potato のカーネルのバージョンアップについて教えてください

ももたりともうします。２年前、「今日からDebian・・・」ではじめましたが
挫折、「徹底入門」で気をとりなおしたのですが、またもや挫折し、中断
してたものです。いまPotato 2.2r2(kernel-2.2.18pre21) を使っています。
先日この ML で松田さんがリンク名を紹介してくだっさったので、早速
kernel-image-2.2.19_2.2.19-4potato.7.deb を
一旦 potato と Dual Boot になっている Windows 2000 でダウンロード
してからpotato の　ルートデレクトリーにコピーし dpkg -i としてインス
トールしました。インストールはエラーなく終わったのですが、起動デ
スクの作成時、つぎのようなエラーがでました。

You already have a LILO configuration in /etc/lilo.conf

in /var/log/lilo_log.298. Please edit /etc/lilo.conf manually and re-run
 lilo or make other arrangement to bootyour machine.

以上のような訳で起動デスクができません。なお /var/log/lilo_log.298
　の内容は次のとおりです。
Warning: /dev/hdb1 is not on the first disk
Added vmlinuz*
この件については dual boot のWindows2000 が /dev/hda に入って
いるので仕方ありません。

/boot デレクトリーには次のファイルがありました。
vmlinuz-2.2.18pre21*  vmlinuz-2.2.19  config-2.2.18pre21  config-2.2.19
System.map-2.2.18pre21  System.map-2.2.19  chain.b  os2_d.b  boot.b
mbr.b  lost+found/

また /lib/modules/2.2.19 もありました。　以上ですが、なんとか使えるよう
になるでしょうか？宜しくお願いいたします。
